Lina Foti is an Executive Producer, award-winning writer-creator and founder of Kreiworks, with more than two decades of international experience across children’s and family entertainment, animation, live action, publishing, immersive experiences and emerging media.

She creates and develops original IP, builds international co-productions, and leads projects from early creative development through financing, production and localisation. Her work spans English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and French-speaking markets, collaborating with leading broadcasters, studios and publishers including Sony Pictures Television, ABC Australia, Nickelodeon, Discovery+, RAI, Disney, HBO Max, Nat Geo Kids and EBS.

Alongside her producing work, Lina has worked in Los Angeles as a scriptwriter and development artist, including on immersive-experience and virtual-production projects. Her writing credits include Pocoyo, Gigantosaurus and Nina & Olga, among others. She has also held senior development and executive-production roles internationally, including at Lion Forge Animation, where she helped expand the studio’s global development and production presence during a period of significant international recognition.

Through Kreiworks’ offices in Australia and Italy, Lina develops and produces original, commercially driven digital-first content across publishing, comics, webtoons, apps, games and screen. Kreiworks collaborates with Almond Entertainment and bestselling author Philip Osbourne, whose titles are distributed in more than 70 countries.

In 2021, Lina received an AWGIE Award for Best Script in Children’s Television – Preschool. She was selected for the Australian Producers’ “Ones to Watch” mentorship in 2016 and, with Screen Australia support, undertook a showrunner mentorship with acclaimed writer-producer Rockne O’Bannon. Lina is currently co-creating a science-fiction feature project with Dan Curry, VES—best known for his visionary visual-effects work across the Star Trek franchise.

She holds a BA in Public Relations from IULM University in Milan, an MA in Diplomacy and International Relations, and a Diploma in Project Management. Lina has also completed tertiary studies, mentorships, and workshops in media, writing, and screenwriting.
